RECETAS DE COCINA EN INGLÉS: Recipies For Kids

HEALTHY VICTORIA SANDWICH

Hi guys! TodayI am goingtotellyouhowcan wemakea healthyVictoria sandwich.Itisveryeasy, youonlyhavetofollowthestepsbellow.










First, you need to have this utensils:

A glass
A bowl
A mixer
A spoon
A knife








The ingredients to make the cake:

•175g butterat roomtemperature

•175g castersugar

•3 eggs

•175g self-raisingflour

•Grated rind of 1 lemon










Method:

•Preheat the oven to 180Cº 10 minutes long

•While the oven is preheating, you catch a bowl, and put in to the bowl the self-raising flour, next you add the eggs and the sugar, you cut the butter in small pieces, and you add it too with the grated rind of the lemon. You mix all the ingredients with the mixer until the mixture is liquid.

•Now, you spread a little beat of butter with a knife or wherever you want over the mold to prevent sticking

•When the butter is spread, you put the mixture into the mold, and you put in the oven 30 minutes more or less

•Past 30 minutes, you remove the cake from the oven, you leave cool, and you cut the cake with a knife in the middle like a sandwich

•Now, youcatch thebottomof thecake, and youspreadthedoublecreamwitha knifeand after, you spread the strawberry jam with some strawberriessliced

HOW TO COOK MUFFINS






Ingredients for 12 muffins


1 egg                              
150 gr. Of sugar
60ml. Of oil
235ml. Of milk
250gr. Of bakery’s flour

* If you want : almonds, chocolate …


Steps


•Pre-heat the oven with 200ºC.
•Put in a bowl the bakery’s flour and the sugar, making a “volcano” (let a space in the middle)
•In another bowl, whisk the egg and add the milk and the oil.
• Pour the mix of the second bowl into the space of the first bowl. Mixallslowly.



•Now is the time when you can add some almonds, chocolate or maybe raisins.
• Pour the final mix into moulds.
•Put the moulds in the oven (the second level) and wait 25 minutes.
•Take your muffins, and wait another 5 minutes.

How to makePlacinte

 
Ingredients:

·One cabbage
·One onion
·400g meat (pork or chicken)
·5 Eggs
·1 kg fresh cheese
·1 kg flour
·Water
·Salt
·Pepper
·Olive oil




Steps:

1st, we do the dough. We put flour in a bowl and we add a little bit of salt and sufficient water for making a dense dough. Now we let it rest until we have the filler done. 

2nd, we cut the cabbage, the chicken and the onion into small cubes. 

3rd, in a small frying pan we put a small amount of oil and we saute the meat. 



4th, in a bigger frying pan we fry the onion, when it’s golden we add the cabbage and we fry it together until it’s half cooked.

 5th, now we add the meat , we mix it all and we let it cool down in a bowl. 

6th, then, we add some salt, pepper and 2 eggs and we mix it well. 

7th, now we cut the dough into small pieces ,we do small balls and we spread oil over them.



8th, now we prepare the fresh cheese. We put it in a bowl and we add some salt and 3 eggs. 

9th, we spread oil over the table, it must be well oiled. 




10th, now we take the roller and a ball and we roll it until we get a thin sheet. 



11th, we spread some oil over the sheet and we add two spoons of filler. 



12th, we give it a triangular form and we start packing it until we get a triangular shape. 




13th, we spread oil over the oven’s tray and we put there the patties. 




14th, we beat an egg and we spread it over the patties. 



15th, we put them in the oven at 210º C until they get a golden color. 

16th, we get them out and we put them in a serving tray. 





17th, ENJOY THEM.



ÓSCAR: Cheese sticks





I learned this recipe from my brother, one day he wanted to cook something and browsing the web he found this easy and tasty recipe.

Ingredients you need: -240 grams of flour
                                         -129 grams of grated cheese
                                         -120 grams of melted butter
                                         -4 pieces of a different cheese
                                         -1 yolk
                                         -some salt
Steps to follow:

1- You have to take a bowl and to put the pieces of cheese, the flour, the melted butter and the grated cheese all together to mix them with a spoon.
2- When the first’s step ingredients are all well mixed you have to put the bowl in the fridge for around half an hour.
3- Now you have to pour the flour on a clean table and a roller to roll the mix of before and give it a flat shape.
4- Now is time to take the baking tray from your oven and cover it with greaseproof paper.
5- On the table, you have to use a knife to cut the flat mix into small rectangle pieces (that’s what they are called cheese sticks) but you can give them the shape you want.
6- You place the sticks on the baking tray and you cover them with the bated yolk.
7- You preheat the oven to 180 degrees and you introduce the sticks on the baking tray.
8- Enjoy!

  


TESS: 

GALLETE DES ROIS

In spain we call this ¨Tarta de los reyes¨. Is a typical plat at Christmas, like here EL ROSCON DE REYES.
Is from the north of France and they it this cake only the first Sunday of the year. The cake is made with puff pastry and almond cream, inside there is a surprise.

INGREDIENTS:

- 2 sheets of puff pastry.
- 3eggs
- Sugar
- 250ml of milk
- 20g of cornstarch
- 100g of almond.
- Vainilla bean

HOW TO DO IT.

1. Mix the milk with the cornstarch, and them put 2 eggs.
2. Hit some milk with sugar and vainilla. Then mis the two liquids for 5 minutes.
3. Take the almond and put it into the mix. Mix it again. Them put the mix in to the fridge.
4. Then, we put the sheets of puff pastry, and them we make a circle with the form of a cake, and put above the egg yolk.
5. We take the mix and we put ir above the sheets. Make another sheet and put it above the mix. Press the borders.
6. We put the cake during 30 minutes in the fridge.
7. We bake the cake during 10 minutes at 120 degrees.
